Protea (Room 9) sleeps 2 has its own private entrance and covered porch.
This unit comes with beautiful warm wooden floor and high ceiling, a double bed, built-in cupboard, table and chairs, a TV offering full DStv, as well as limited kitchen facilities.
There is a modern bathroom with corner shower, water saving toilet, a large mirror and a colourfully patterned round stained glass window.
Emergency lighting is available in all our rooms during load shedding. There is free Wi-Fi access and this room also gets Wi-Fi during load shedding

Secure parking on our premises behind a security gate. Upon arrival we provide you with the key to your room, as well as a remote control device to open the gate. Since the gates do not close automatically, we kindly request that you ensure that the gate has properly closed behind you.
Meals – All guests can make use of breakfast and dinner, but you need to arrange with us in advance, please. We deliver the meals at your room, however in the event of groups, we serve the meals in the Lapa.
Pets are allowed, but please arrange with us prior to your stay.
Braai facilities – Guests may use the Lapa at a fee per head, please arrange with reception in advance. The Lapa offers an indoor braai place, but there is also the Boma for outdoor braai activities. We also provide a mobile braai which we can bring to your unit. Firewood is available.
Aan de Kanal accepts payments by way of EFT, credit card, or of course, cash.
Should you have valuables to lock away, please arrange with us to use the large safe in the house.
Feel free to arrange with us to do your laundry at an extra fee. Please inquire at reception. Should you need an iron and ironing board, simply ask at reception.
Every room with guests is cleaned every day from Monday to Friday. Please note that our cleaning services do not include washing dishes and cleaning up the kitchen. Please leave the kitchen clean and tidy upon leaving.
